Under the weather

Day-time TV sucks doesn't it?

If there were good things on TV I think being ill would be a bit more bearable... alas there are not. But fear not because there's always the wide world of the blogosphere to keep me entertained, and I can safely say that it has lived up to expectations.

I have to put my hand up and say I am fully guilty of ransacking Pinterest for an unhealthy amount of time for the past two days (if you aren't on Pinterest then I'll give you a second now to go and make an account... okay where was I?) In this time I found a few amusing little photopops which I thought I'd share.
Just kidding...I'm only a turtle.
Isn't he just the cutest turtle ever?

lol
Bless his cotton socks!
Oh, stop it, you
This is my all-time favourite! Look at him! LOOK!

Anyway I'm off to make a cup of tea and then snuggle into bed!

See you on the other side!

Review: L'Occitane Solid Perfume, Rose 4 Reines

I purchased this when I went down to Brighton for the weekend, and I was immediately drawn in by its smell, it really does just smell like roses.

I'd never tried solid perfume before so I was intrigued as to whether it was going to actually work. And...

 *drumroll please*

It's amazing!

It smells SO SO SO good, it stays on your skin for ages and the fact that it is solid means that you have more control over how much you put on so you can make it last forever!

It's so nice when you put a perfume on, and throughout the day you get sudden wafts of fragrance. It really stays on your skin for a long time!

They have other solid perfume fragrances: cherry blossom, rose de champs and green tea with jasmine. They all smell DIVINE, but the rose one really did it for me.

Review: Aussie leave-in conditioner

I am a very smell-concious person - as odd as that might sound. So whenever I buy beauty products a nice smell is a must.

This was the main reason I decided to buy this leave-in conditioner. I had not previously had good experience with leave-in conditioners. I used a Pantene one which left my hair feeling sticky and greasy. However, the enticing aroma of this Aussie product drew me in, and tempted me to give leave-in conditioners another try.

I have one word to describe the smell.

Heavenly.

That's all. I mean really. It is the nicest smell in the whole entire world.

It claims that it: detangles and helps protect your hair from everyday wear and tear.

I can't say that I've noticed a massive difference in how easy it is to comb my hair, but I would go out and buy this again purely for the smell.

I urge you to all go to your local pharmacy/drug store and just smell it. If that doesn't entice you to buy it then I don't know what will.

Bye-bye x
